Photograph Hidden Yosemite & the Hoover Wilderness
Explore and photograph rarely published locations and sites within Yosemite National Park and the adjoining Hoover Wilderness area. I have been hiking in the the central Sierra Nevada Range for forty years and am crystalizing some of my favorite “off the beaten path” sites into this eBook. It’s hard to believe that in this popular and highly “people impacted” area that there are new perspectives and creative visions to be captured by photographers. This eBook, I believe, will surprise you in what is still largely unvisited and un-photographed. Subjects just waiting for you and your camera.
Areas covered: Yosemite Valley’s Upper Cliffs, Yosemite Valley’s River Trails, South Fork of the Merced- Wawona, Olmsted Point Surrounds, Pywiack Dome & Meadow, Dana Fork of the Tuolumne, Gaylor Lakes, Granite Lakes, Mine Creek Lakes Basin, Twenty Lakes Basin, Conness Lakes, Warren Canyon, Technique, Photo Gear, & Personal Safety Gear for Mountain Photography.
The coastal stretch of central California is a coastline defined by storm-battered cliffs, quiet bays and lagoons, offshore
rocks backlit by a golden sunset, skies filled with migrating birds, and ocean waters inhabited by seals, whales, dolphins, and sea otters- along with a landscape of coastal pines, twisted ancient oaks, coastal range vineyards, historic missions, and misty coastal cypress groves. Photographically, this area of the west coast holds a bounty of diverse subject matter and for that reason it is worthy of our time and effort to explore and photographically capture both its subtly and majesty in a variety of locations. This 82 page eBook with its richly illustrated photographs and corresponding detailed, informative text will give you the necessary tools to plan your next photographic exploration of this diverse and evocative coastal landscape.
